The Homemade Pedicure

SaraPags

As summer is a hair's breadth away, my feet are destroyed by the pairs of trainers I lived with, and we're going to wear sandals very soon, I'm terrified by the idea of showing my feet to the people.
That's the reason why I decided it was time to take care of them a little bit
, and to post here what I did.
So, first thing first I left my feet in the lukewarm water for a few minutes.

I put some lavender's oil drops in the water in order to soften the corns and the dry skin. trust me, it works. You'll immediately feel better.

Then, I took a small brush to take out the dirty under my nails. I scratched the area with a pumice stone which left it a little softener.

After that, I dried my feet with a towel.

So, I moved to the balcony because it was such a beautiful day, and I prepared all the things I needed on the table.

I began applying the cuticles remover polish on the base of my nails.

I pushed my cuticles in with the round extremity of the appropriate tool.

Then, I take them out with the pointed end of the tool.

I took a file and I shaped my nails as I liked: remember not to make them too rounded, because they might become ingrown. I chose to file them squared on the top and a little round aside.

Finally I put the base polish on and then I chose a colour I liked and applied it on my nails. I always prefer neutral colours on my feet if I'm wearing a bright one on my hands, although I also adore that chic burgundy especially in winter. I'm not a big fan of hands and feet matched, anyway.
